Hes my favorite and most misunderstood character. After Hinata and Kageyama leaves, the former tells the latter about Yachi being hesistant to join the team. The team specializes in blocking and has the highest blocking rate in the prefecture, earning them the nickname "The Iron Wall". He's often the "straight man" to many of the other Inarizaki's other wacky antics, always calling them out on their nonsense. The series has been adapted into stage plays, video games and a four-season anime with a continuation film series on the way. Ushijima, unsurprisingly, has the tendency to take things literally, making him difficult to befriend and joke around with. Kenma is often referred to as the "brain" of the team and is responsible for keeping the team composed and decoding any opposing team's weaknesses.
