I believe knowledge and infinity of knowledge. I gave up doing memorization ever since I realized the

world and started questioning. I have refused the rote learning education system at the university. I've

always asked the question of why and how. Because I really wanted to know. Maybe for that is why I

finished the four-year license with in years and with in a graduation grade which is

(according to the 4 system).Education system based on rote learning at the University drawn away me.

I have started to attend conferences, open sessions and seminars. During these activities, I acquainted

with different disciplines. I have started to deal with in psychology, sociology and philosophy. I

started to reading books especially on philosophy of ethics. I have read Immanuel Kant,

Schopenhauer, Adam Smith, Rumi, Shirazi. I have tried to synthesize between East and West.I was

pondering about how the human race should be. I perused religious books to understand the effects of

religions on the human race. I have tried to read the Tanakh(old-testament), the Bible, and the Qur'an

by comparing them with facts and events. I explored and thought what religions offer to the human

race and whether religions can carry the human race forward and how human beings can achieve

virtue.

Serenay Ağın was born in Izmir in She completed her primary school education at Izmir Tevfik Fikret Private School; and her high school education at Izmir Tevfik Fikret Private Science High School. She started her undergraduate studies at Yasar University in the department of translation and interpreting in Then she started her undergraduate law studies as double major undergraduate program at the same university in She graduated from the department of translation and interpretation in and from the faculty of law in In the same year, she started her postgraduate education in medical law at Galatasaray University (non-thesis program) and Bakırcay University (with thesis program) synchronically. She graduated from Galatasaray University Medical Law without thesis master’s degree by writing her graduation project on “Misconduct of the Physician” in She graduated from Bakircay University Medical Law master's degree by writing her thesis on "Unauthorized Practice of Medicine Crimes". She continues her doctorate in the department of Medical Law at Bakircay University. She attended IV. International Medical Law Congress and V. International Medical Law Congress as speaker. Although she is an awarded legal expert; she makes literary translations from English or French to Turkish.
